Лекар и политичар. Гимназију је завршио у Новом Саду, а Медицински факултет у Бечу. Биран је за посланика Босанском сабору у Сарајеву. У Краљевини СХС био је министар народног здравља 1919-1929, затим директор Државне болнице у Сарајеву 1929-1931, бан Зетске бановине 1931-1931 и подпредседник Сената Краљевине Југославије 1933-1941. године.
