History

Професор на Универзитету Северна Каролина, писац и преводилац са српског језика. Превео је многобројна дела српске књижевности. До почетка Другог светског рата живео је у Лесковцу. Као присталица Равногорског покрета, при крају рата емигрира у Италију, док 1951. године долази у Сједињене Државе, где уз рад студира и гради професорску каријеру.
